| You wait with Suang for a few moments longer before mustering what strength you can. While up here you should at least meet these Mountain Ki'RIn. ...if you can. Suang informed you that you may not find any of the Mares, but told you to stay close to the area he was in. If luck was with you and you had a pure enough heart you'd be able to see them. Or if you were just lucky. A good ten minutes pass before your eyes catch a glimmer of silver. Turning to look in the direction of the color you see nothing but snow dunes. Frowning a little you call out hesitantly, "Is someone there?" You are sure you saw something, and right now are just hoping it's not dangerous. Silence is the only reply you get before the sudden feeling of pressure against your back is felt. Slowly you turn around, saying everything you can to hopefully get this creature to spare your life. When you mention you know Suang the silver Mountain Ki'Rin mare moves away a step, but keeps her horn lowered. She didn't trust you. She was beautiful though, a pretty silver with a black horn, silver hooves and a crimson tufted tail. Her eyes were an eerie yellow and she seemed to be crying...blood?! "Are you alright?" You question, concerned that she might be hurt. The blood tears slide down the side of her scaled cheeks as she watches you with emotionless eyes. "Everything is fine traveller. You may know Suang, or claim to, but that does not mean I have to be buddy-buddy with you. I am Lutra, Lead mare of the Majesty of the Frozen Peaks. That is all you need know, all I will tell you." She flicks her tufted tail before turning and slowly, aggressively, moving away from you. Try your luck again. |
