"....for we are, ourselves, the muse."
The day of the Eclipse passed, once more, without the presence of nefarious intent.
A calm, without the approach of any storm.
Peaceful, without the fear.

Many still chose to look upon it with distrust, not yet favourable of the idea of an Eclipse that
wasn't a warning. Others who had known of the breaking of Rekura's Curse watched it with an
apt curiosity; seeking to learn the secret of this new age, one which had so far only marked one
other Eclipse.

Those who witnessed the Eclipse in the Inner Dimension say that they heard a song upon the
wind. A rhyming melody where the words were almost clear.

They chose to name those born beneath the notes the Minstrels.

The young of Inner Origin born that day were marked by Eclipse Mutations and visible, glowing,
Crescent Moons that hovered around their arms. The Moons were solid energy with a Divine
light to them, and seemed... young. Tied to the age of the Minstrel, these Moons seemed to be
another aspect of their Eclipse blessing.

Those born beneath the Eclipse found themselves eagerly greeted by a small, almost-caterpillar
like familiar that appeared before them just as the Eclipse came to its end. Moonamis, like had
first been seen with the last Eclipse, but different to the ones that had sprung up the year before.

The Minstrels were also born with an innate power called the Minstrel's Rhyme or the Minstrel's
Song. Both forms of the power lead to the same result, but have differing ways in which they
must be used. Those with the Rhyme had to rhyme words like a poet, while those with the Song
had to sing.

The words Rhyme or Sung had to be, at minimum, a full sentence. A single word or two didn't
seem enough to activate the power, but those who managed to string the Rhyme or Song into
being could bring blessings (or curses) upon those they Rhymed or Sung for.

Whether they result in a blessing or curse appearing to rely on a flip of the coin, or the whim of
the universe.

Whatever the results of the Rhyme or Song always happen within 24hrs of the power being
activated. The results range from a minor boost of luck, to the misfortune of tripping or falling
down an attempted climb. Fortunately the Rhyme and Song don't seem to be able to cause
death or anything that can lead to lasting cruelty.

The
intent behind the Rhyme or Song seems to matter, though it only counts what the Minstrel is
feeling in the moment they Rhyme or Sing. Intending harm/misfortune can cause a blessing to
be minor, or a curse to be harmful. And wanting someone to gain a boon or blessing can
increase the effects of a blessing, or lessen the outcome of a misfortune.
