Their magic types are focus-oriented on their own strengths and weaknessses. With added speed to their reflexes, the simple addition of a "Phantom Cut" enchantment can fall an enemy or three in the blink of an eye. Combat Class Slayers are revered for their abilities to handle themselves in close-combat styles without flaw.
Taught by a wide selection of Instructors, those entering into the Combat Class will find that their natural abilities will be doubled in only the matter of days, and by the end of the training runs they'll be able to handle themselves no problem.
A large number of Executioners are born from the Combat Class, as most indviduals entering in to this Class have the guts necessary to take on a Shade Warrior on their own. Due to a Warrior's inability to specially adapt to close-combat magics they can usually be felled by a well-aimed "Judgement Strike" if the Slayer is close enough.
There is a number of downfalls to this Slayer Class, however, as the magics their utilize are only at full-power when delivered in direct strikes. Combat Class Slayers aren't trained to fight from afar, so when met with an enemy who is likely not to get close they can be relatively at a loss of helping their chosen allies in the fight. They, however, make up for this failing by possessing the use of Weapons Magics which can -- when applied to the correct weapon -- allow them the use of a far-ranged attack or two.
