There are two types of Healers, the Slayer Class Healers and the Shrine
Class Healers. The differences between the two is immense, as Slayers of
this Class are taught quick-healing magics and harmful Vitality Magics
while Shrine Healers are taught Heavy Healing Magics and are more
healing-oriented than fight-oriented.

This Class is taught by the same instructor no matter what choice the
would-be Slayer makes. If they intended to become a Slayer they're taught
the necessary skills to be useful to Guilds beyond the Border as fighting
medics, complete with the skills to cast energy restorations and revival
spells in a split second. Shrine Healers, on the other hand, are taught more
extensive healing magics that allow for them to heal a great deal of injured
Slayers on  large scale. They're also equipped to heal all poisons, whereas
Healer Class Slayers are only trained to handle the most common types.

Shrine Healers are assigned to work in Healing Shrines, usually found in
Outposts and Plateaus -- or at the Venishra Okral itself, the largest and
most farreaching healing shrine in current existence.

Healer Class Slayers are assigned to Guilds, usually no more than two per
Guild depending on the Guild size. They're meant to be travelling Healers
who keep their allies at their best at all times, and are not the most
powerful when it comes to battle.

That's not to say the Healer Class cannot be deadly. There have been four
Prodigies that Shiriza taught who used her teachings to climb fiercely up
the Slayer Ranks, and they became Executioners in only the matter of
weeks. What Magics they used to reach their current standings, however,
is not something Shiriza will openly admit -- she seems somewhat
reluctant to teach harmful magics knowingly.
