The Thunder Plateau

The stone pathways leading across the divide reach down over 200ft before touching down just before the Border, where a Gateway is located. The Border itself reaches all the way up to the sky, so the land beyond the Border always appears red to those within it's safe zone. Fog and mist is always drifting off the Plateau, obscuring the view of the Divide below. The Divide, a huge fissure that cuts across Orcle's Isle, was created when the Void connected with the Inner Dimension. It is, like the Border, a safety precaution. Anyone who falls in to the divide will be unable to return from where they end up. Rock walls, over 200ft high, go all along this divide, with each Plateau/Outpost being located well on top of them. The stone is protected by magic so that it never falls victim to Abilities or Powers.

Within the Thunder Plateau there are four large bodies of water. The largest is the Akethra Lake, which holds a small island in it's center. Next is the River of Ilera which spans over 100ft in width, beyond it's rapid-infested waters are monstrous caves and trees that are lined with large webs, among other things. This area is an advanced training area. Next are two smaller lakes, one located near the Lookout and Training Area, while the other is located beyond the Shrine. Both of these are nameless. All bodies of water are filled to the brink with tasty fish and spike-shelled turtles.

The land of the Thunder Plateau is all flat, and a mixture of clear dirt areas and thick evergreen forests. The wildlife that the Makos provide the Plateau with monthly are scattered about the area, but mainly found near the River of Ilera and the stretch of forest between the River and the Shrine.

There are three entrances to and from the Plateau. One leads to the Border itself, the other to the Land beyond the Thunder Plateau. The last is hidden, and only known by the lead Executioner of the Plateau - it is used in the case of an emergency, where a retreat from the Plateau is in order. All Entraces/Exits are filled with red energy which only allow those that have been Blood Marked to pass through.
