The last 770 years have done much to change the appearance of the day and night sky. Where once the sky was a porcelain white, it has now been returned to the blue it once was. From the Plateau the sister planets of the Ice Plains, and the three Moons, can always be seen - even during the daylight hours.

While during the day the sky may appear peaceful, even calming, on this side of the Border, the night brings something different. As the sky fades to a star-filled black, a crimson red glow encompasses the three Moons, and the sister Planets of the Ice Plains become fully visible. It is at night when the damage done to both the Shard Plains and the Moon Na is plainly exposed.

The sight has lost it's shock upon those who have long-since grown used to the sight, but for those new to it things may be a bit different. The Shard Plains is now, true to it's a name, a broken Planet. Centuries ago the Shades assaulted the Shard Plains, obliterating over half of the planet's mass. Na got caught in this blast, and suffered a similiar loss. Now the Moon and Planet are completely lifeless, no longer able to support life. Everyone who had been upon the Shard Plains and Na had been killed in a single night. The clear view of the destruction only serves to remind everyone how powerful the Shades truly are.

Green and blue usually dance across the night sky, much akin to the Northern Lights. It is a common sight upon the Plateau, with the lights being emitted by the frozen stretch of land just beyond the mountains.
